[Ordinarily I would not endorse a company, manufacturer or service provider but Gary (GMan) is an exception. Gary is a member of the LC Forum and I have read many, many posts by him. He is generally considered to be one of the best when it comes to wrenching on an LC. I have done some of his modifications with excellent results. Gary is one of just a few people that I would have no qualms about handing the keys to my LC and letting him work on it. You can contact Gary at

However, I have no control over "Backorder", so contact us early and we'll schedule your shipping to us around the parts delivery to minimize downtime for you. Like… "Your parts are here, go ahead and ship those carbs"

Longevity
Since the OEM needles are retained, we believe that using Gary's method of re-jetting/rebuilding will allow your carbs to outlast the engine. What kills your needlejets is aftermarket needles.

If you experience any problems with our work we will make it right at no cost to you, period.

Price Comparison

Rejetting
A pre-packaged jet kit from Dynojet, Cobra, Vance & Hines, K&N, or Factory Pro will cost around $80 for a box of parts and directions. At GManIndustries you get re-jetting with GENUINE MIKUNI PARTS, a check that all systems are in factory spec, carbs synchronized, and your pipes, altitude and air filter are taken into account. Installation is performed by someone with LOTS of experience working on 1500 Intruders. All for $25 more than an aftermarket jet kit.

Needle jet replacement
Needle jet replacement is also offered by Factory Pro, and they have a PATENTED needle jet system for the 1500 Intruder. They will replace your needle-jets and install one of their jet kits for $285 plus shipping. At GManIndustries the rebuild/re-jet will cost $185 and return shipping is included.

Needle jet replacement kits are also offered by Motorcycle Carbs dot com. They cost like $189 and come with directions and tools to replace the needle jets yourself at home. We originally did the R&D for this kit and it works well and seems to be a permanent fix. You'll have to do the install/rebuild yourself and jets and OEM needles are NOT included.

At GManIndustries we will do the complete re-jet and the needlejet rebuild with new OEM needles for $185. we do all the work, and return shipping is included.

GManIndustries strongly recommends the "Whole 9 Yards" when rebuilding your needle jets. For an additional $130 you ensure best performance, mileage, and life span by replacing the slides and diaphragms.
